FNB’s Housing Loan Programs: Make Your House a Home

Now is the time to make your dream a reality with FNB's Housing Loan. The only thing you need to worry about is when to move in.

FNB’s Housing Loan
Loan Characteristics
  • Loan amount: up to $250,000
  • Repayment period: up to 15 years in USD
  • Loan financing:
    - 80% of total amount for a finished apartment
    - 100% of total amount needed for renovation
    - 70% of total amount for a rented apartment

FNB’s Subsidized Housing Loan (Iskan Program)
Loan Characteristics
  • Loan amount: up to 180 million LBP
  • Loan currency: LBP
  • Repayment period: up to 30 years

Loan Benefits
  • Preferential low interest rates
  • Flexible repayment period
  • No registration fees, real estate mortgage, or contract stamp fees

Loan Conditions
  • Applicant should be a Lebanese citizen
  • Applicant should have been employed for more than one year or self employed for more than two years
  • Applicant’s income should be between $400 and $2000
  • Applicant’s monthly payment shouldn’t exceed 1/3 of the monthly salary (for employees) & 1/4 of the monthly income (for self employed)
  • Applicant’s minimum salary should be $600 for private sector employees, $400 for public sector employees, and $1500 for self employed
  • Family income shouldn’t exceed 5,000,000 LBP
  • Applicant shouldn’t be retired when loan period ends

Expatriate Housing Loan

Even if you don’t reside in Lebanon, you have the ability to purchase your dream home.

 

Loan Characteristics

  • Loan amount: up to $250,000
  • Repayment period: up to 15 years
  • Loan financing: up to 70% for finished apartments
Loan Conditions
  • Applicant should be a Lebanese citizen
  • Applicant’s monthly payment shouldn’t exceed 1/3 of the monthly fixed income
  • Applicant shouldn’t be retired when loan period ends

BDL Housing Loan
Loan Characteristics
  • Loan amount: up to 500,000,000 LBP
  • Loan currency: LBP
  • Repayment period: between 7 and 15 years
  • Grace period: between 6 months and 2 years
  • Loan financing:
    - 80% for Lebanese residents
    - 50% for expatriates

Loan Conditions
  • Applicant should have been employed for more than one year (for public and private sector employees) or more than two years (for self employed and expatriates)
  • Applicant’s monthly payment shouldn’t exceed 1/3 of the monthly salary (for public and private sector employees) and 1/4 of the monthly income (for self employed and expatriates)
  • Applicant’s monthly salary should be $2,000 for public and private sector employees (singles or married), $2,750 for self employed (singles or married), and $3,000 for expatriates (singles or married)
  • Applicant shouldn’t be retired when loan period ends

Required Documents (for all Housing Loan Programs)
For employees:
  • Copy of passport or Identity Card
  • Proof of income: a recent employment certificate confirming the date of employment, position held, salary, and NSSF number (if available) or certificate of salary with a copy of the last payroll slip
  • Proof of residence: certificate of residence or copy of electricity or phone bill

For self-employed:
  • Copy of passport or Identity Card
  • Statement of account for the last 6 months
  • Declaration of income for the last 2 years
  • Copy of the company’s commercial circular
  • Documents proving the place of work (certificate of Commercial Register, etc.)
  • Copy of syndicate membership card (if available)

  • نسخة عن خريطة الافراز وﺇرفاق وتخطيط
  • عقد البيع مع الوصولات
  • براءة ذمة مالية وبلدية
  • نظام الملكية المشتركة من كاتب العدل
  • صورة عن سند ملكية للعقار
  • ﺇفادة عقارية شاملة للعقار المفرز وللمقسم رقم واحد
  • صورة عن رخصة الاسكان مصدقة من البلدية أو من المرجع الصادرة عنه، أو ﺇفادة ﺇنجاز البناء ﺇذا كان المسكن منجز قبل آذار ١٩٦٤
